Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 14, 2007 had this awhile ago, just noticed someone entered it. pretty good brew, bit of a creamy body, lightly hoped with a nice blend of milk stout, pretty good. weeare138 (933), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 23, 2006 This was the latest cask release on tap at LBC on 10/21/06. It’s a preblended mix of Red Rose Ale & Milk Stout, making for a deliciously, malty brew.
Appears a red toned, transparent dark brown with a light tan head that slowly fades out. Spotty lacing is left all around the glass.
Smell is of caramel, nuts, light cocoa, sweet, roasted chestnuts, spices, along with a florally bouquet of hops mixed with brown sugar and fruit.
Taste is a nice mix of the mentioned aromas touching upon the sweetness of the stout and the malty/hop balance of the Red Rose.
Mouthfeel is smooth, sweet, malty mix of the caramel and hops running along the tongue in a slick but satisfying motion.
