mj (4975), Colorado, USA Apr 19, 2008 Pint @ Lancaster Harrisburg. Orange copper color, clear and filtered, with a small 1/4 inch white head. Typical nose of resinous corn, fresh grain, some cracker malts, some caramel, etc, nothing too complicated... flavor is much the same, a bit simple, centered around some sweet corn, cracked barley, with an oily texture (not so good), an average thickness for the style, and transparent bittering hops, which is nice enough. Again, nothing complicated here, but nothing terrible either. jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA May 2, 2007 Draught. Poured a clear amber body with thin head. Faint grainy aroma. Taste is grainy with a fruity kind of taste. slightly dry, light sugar. Intresting hop profile. scraff (1921), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Apr 26, 2007 Tap @ LBC - Gold, creamy white head. Nose held soft floral notes and hints of pepper and caramel bread. Soft flavors of all the above and well balanced from start to finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light sweet finish. This was nicely done... obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2007 Great bock beer, light copper in color, excellent lacing around the glass, sweet malty nose with notes of brown sugar & caramel, more malty notes in the flavors with hints of caramel, fruit & yeast, very well balanced, more like a maibock
