The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of strawberries - I’m not that fond of strawberries in anything than lambic. The flavor is sweet, but quite light, the strongest note being of strawberries with light notes of malt and even lighter notes of wheat. There’s no flaws, but it is just not me. coldbrewky (742), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Draft at beer festival. Fruit nose faded fast. weak body but pretty in the glass. I disagree with the "must try" on the bottle. Stick with the milk stout. GriffinAvenue (396), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA

Light, lacy head. Strawberry aroma very present but not overpowering. Berry, banana, floral hints in taste complement the obvious strawberry draw. Somewhat thin in body, but not hollow tasting. Still, leaves me wanting more from it. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

As a fruit beer.......this is very, very poor. BUT girls might good for this beer......so I’ll shoved the rest to the back of the fridge for company. cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Not overly fruity and can barely taste any strawberry at all, but that don’t subtract from the enjoyability of this beer. Could detect an ever so slight amount of bitterness. OK, second bottle; now I taste the added strawberry flavors. It says right on the bottle, the flavor was added! The last fruit beer I tasted was abita purple haze. This is much much better than that. This has a really nifty prickly little teeny bubbles carbonation. Of all the beers in my ’fridge (about 8 different kinds) I found myself reaching for this. Very easy to drink and enjoy. Best of the fruit beers I’ve tasted.
