On draft at the brewery. Pours orange gold with a white head. Aroma of strawberry and sweet malts. The flavor is smooth, strawberry, and yeast. ok beer.

Yellow-orange pour with a weak white head. The aroma is remiscent of that fruit filled shredded wheat cereal from way back when...which makes sense...but doesn’t make it any less strange. The flavor kinda sticks with this theme with some yeast notes to kinda mix it up I guess. High carbonation feels fitting with the light flavors...some sweetness...some sourness and finishes fairly dry. The overall experience feels a bit artificial...a bit watery. Once you get into it it is a bit refreshing and crisp...but that just might be because it’s a bit watery. Nothing too offensive here, but nothing here to impress either.

bottle. Disappointing aroma. Lots of activity in the deep amber appearance. Flavor is weak with no palate.

This was one of my early favorites when introduced years ago when the brewery was named Lancaster Malt Brewing. Part of the reason was because it was better off the tap and they actually put fresh cut strawberries in the glass when in season. Those days are past, however, and we have a brew (probably subbed out to Lion) that is a little more artificial. Out of the particular bottle I am rating this from, I would have to say the carbonization is way amped, as I had trouble keeping it from the bottle to the glass. After it calmed down, however, the beer exhibited medium aftertaste, a little too much fruit flavoring, and dissipating lager-like aftertaste. Overall, its ok, but not one to seek out.

Strawberry poptart aroma. Pinky, iced tea color, white, gritty foamy head. Medium tartness, light vinegar. Present, but restrained strawberry. Medium body. A surging aftertaste that fades quickly. Decent blance, but as much as I enjoy a good fruit beer, I’m just thinking strawberry should be off the beer flavorant list.

I’m not sure if my particular batch is representative. I detected no strawberry aroma and a mild aftertaste. It appeared to be a fresh bottle. Its really a disapointment.

Very light, very strawberry-flavored, and very carbonated. Not going to do much for the craft beer lover, looking for depth, but not bad as a refreshing summer beverage.

Slightly cloudy golden pour. Strawberry flavor was present even before first sip, however the taste was surprisingly refreshing. A great summer beer that doesn’t overpower with fruitiness. Hints of malt and a bit of hops balances the beer perfectly.
