Thanks to jeffin7 for this bonus beer! Poured a medium gold, some floaties, and a big head that should have been my first warning sign. Aroma was bready, with an unusual amount of esters and a trace of sourness. That should have been my second warning sign. On first taste, a bready wheat flavor, some indistinct fruitiness, and a sour finish. Hmmm. Something odd and somewhat off-putting about that sour finish. Should have been my third warning sign. The beer was a bit too cool, so I went about some other things, and came back to it a few minutes later. Whammo, the flavor was clear right off the bat, we have some infection here folks. Tasted a couple of more times to make certain before letting it circle the drain. Too bad.

Thanks for the beer, civforprez. Deep gold color with a very large white head. The aroma is white brad with hints of the strawberries. The taste is thin and lght with strawberries and some bread. This would be a great summer beer.

Picked because I enjoy strawberry flavor but, really wasted my time. It smelled better than it tasted. Tipical wheat beer with a flat strawberry finish.

of the lancaster family, this is the best one i tried............lets discuss, the beer must be nice and toasty for it tasted skunked if it is cold....nice strawberry flavor, nice color, nice aftertaste. a very diferent beer which will leave some scummy seeds on your teeth after you enjoy. worth a try if you are bored, yet it is rather expensive and kind of hard to find....don’t be fooled by the almish purity...this beer can be very unstable because it is unpasturized....BFD why not?

12.26.04 12oz bottle. Golden-yellow-orange the color of my ratty blanket with large white head. Sampled as part of my closet cleaning splurge. Strawberry jam aroma, some light grainishness. The flavor is bland and yet sour, like very underripe strawberries and some malt liquor.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with golden highlights and a thin white head. Aroma of fake strawberres, icing sugars, light hops and some odd fresh scents. Light-bodied; Tart, acidic flavour with strong carbonation and little else. Aftertaste shows freshness and more pale flavours. Overall, an acceptable fruit beer, but not anything great. I was lucky enough to sample this twelve ounce bottle purhased by jon[r888710] at Chevy Chase Wne & Liquors in Washington, D.C.

Brassy orange/gold with a nicely thick, white head. Smells lightly of floral and artificial strawberry. Taste is very tart and acidic. Lemony and bright on top of an artificial strawberry, malt base. Aftertaste is dry and sweet, with slight strawberry flavors. Only 1 point above average because it is, at least, interesting.

Tap at LV brewfest ’04. Golden with a white head. Smells and tastes like strawberries. Light and refreshing, and maybe even slightly interesting.
