Light lacing apparent. Aroma had almost no strawberry to it - nor did it really have a wheat aroma either --- sort of neutral. Initial draw was light, drinkable - no fighting with hops here as hops was very much in the background. Only after a few swallows does a very slight strawberry taste come through. The bottle identifies Strawberry extract was basically added to for the slight flavor. A little too light tasting for me, I would have hoped for a bolder wheat beer as the base and some tang from a little acid and strawberry (it could really use a bit of sour mashing and more of a natural strawberry flavor IMO). This wheat was just OK... nothing special, nothing to rave about. I probably will not purchase again, but would drink again if offered. Mediocre is the best way to describe it. Suprisingly not to much strawberry, some tartness but finish is of fresh strawberries. At the best a not unpleasant fruit beer. alobar (1032), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Light aroma and flavor, not too much strawberry (which is probably good as I’m not too fond of fruit beers). Overall decent, nothing special. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was of sweet strawberries. The flavor was a creamy strawberry that reminded me of a milk shake. I enjoyed this beer a lot. TheCaptain (559), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Bottle in Lancaster - Sampled from the wife’s beer. Foam off-white head, no real aroma and didn’t sense the strawberry that much. Rather weird sense on my tongue and the flavor was watery and dull. Kind of fizzy and flavorless, easy to drink but thats about it! machfive55 (234), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 16, 2008 I’m surprised that this beer has gotten a lot of bad reviews. I thoroughly enjoy this beer.
The beer was on tap and the pour was light amber, with little head but a lively carbonation. The beer has a nice fruity aroma, with strawberry as the highlight. Little or no hop aroma.
The flavor is extremely balanced, with a slight sourness attributed to the strawberry, which blends nicely and is not over the top. This is a nice clean beer as you would expect from a lager, a nice clean yeast profile.
This beer is a session beer that goes down smoothly and I could easily drink several of them in one sitting. Funknmilla (600), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
