On draft at the brewpup. Aroma of yeast/wheat with a light strawberry finish. Flavor was pretty similar; would have liked a more pronounced strawberry component.

xxx Had this at the state college beer expo 2006. late in the day, but i do remember that the strawberry was not tasting natural or good.

ok, here’s what you do. drive to a strawberry patch by the side of a busy road after it’s rain with a pint glass. find a puddle, fill it up with the rain water. now start picking things up that are around: strawberrys, tall grass or wheat that cars have driven over, a tossed twinky wrapper with some of the cream still stuck to the inside, a lucky penny and a cigarette butt (menthol). Ok, smash the strawberries and let them soak in the water for a minute. then dump everything else in and shake for another minute. remove the items. drink. won’t be too far off this one.

Va BF 07 Draft: Over the top strawberry aroma. Clear golden pour with no head. Strawberry and cherry flavor and no hops. Decent vanilla finish. Could use more hoips, but not bad.

Bottle. Pours orange yellow, white head. Aroma is strawberry, wheat, caramel, metal. Flavor is strawberry cheesecake, caramel, wheat, toffee; tastes a little artificial.

12 oz bottle. Clear light yellow with almost no head. Astringent artificial strawberry nose, lightly grassy. Cheap strawberry soda flavors overpower anything wheaty - not good. Bleh.

Bottle. Interesting. Very little in the way of aromas. Detected a faint wiff of strawberry. Taste was light tart srawberry. Could be a nice beer to have on a blazing hot summer afternoon.
