Bottle from the Drafting Room, Exton, PA. Pours deep copper with aroma of bready malt, resiny hops, some citrus and floral spice. Tastes malty at the front, followed by a piney hop and grapefruit burst at mid-palate, giving way to a blanaced finish with more hops, citrus, and bready malt. Very good.

Totally clear amber hue. Nicely laced beige head sticks to the glass edges professionally. Straightforward rye-like crystal malt nose balances out sappy, grapefruity and piney hops. Nothing complex about this, you’ve had it a hundred times before with a different label, but it remains bright, lively, fresh and pleasant at times. Highly drinkable with its citric bite. Plenty of toasted bread flavours, grainy in their way reminds again of rye. I’m not sure if the slight watery hint right before the finish enhances drinkability even more or if it acts as a cut in the flavour, but we’re left with our mouth empty and a flowery cascade residue. Light-medium bodied, slight creamy feel, smooth carbonation.

Clear red pour with a thin white head. Aroma of cascade hops with some sweetness. Flavor of toasted malt, cascade hops, some sweetness, maybe it’s caramel, strong lasting bitter finish. Light to medium body, dry mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

I looked at this....and said to myself "I’ve had that beer" . Pored over my notes, and in half legible handwriting, found the notes on this beer, on a night where I’d had at least 8 others, all to myself. The notes don’t tell much besides "IPA or Red?" and "malt and hops jump around" The numbers were there however so I’ll use them mainly

Pours a clear medium amber color, small white head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Flavor is full of piney hops, crisp malt, dry finish. Thanks to JahNoth for this one!

Reddish amber. Quite malty with some lemony hops - very sweet. Light to medium toasetd malt, decent bitterness but not overpowering. Grassy.

Clear deep copper body, thin/medium clumping light cream head. Caramely, bready aroma with some earthy hops. Bready, toasty body with an unusual blend of caramely malts and piney, spicy hops; these are both up-front at the outset, whereas the malts and hops seem to develop separately in many otherwise similar beers. Long distinct bitter finish, although it reminds me a bit of sucking on a copper penny. After a few sips, the hops really take precedence. Quite leafy. I’m not sold on this particular combination of characteristics. Thanks Dan (jah noth) for the bottle!
