muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Apr 2, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Richmond Beverage in Richmond, VT (April 2008) sampled out of the fridge from an appropriate Coors Banquet glass. For some reason I had a moment of excitement on seeing this, thinking I could finally scratch Florida off of my states list....but nope, just another Bud product. Anyway, the head is more stable than that of most pale lagers, white and creamy-fluffy; the body is totally clear light gold....mild, adjuncty (corn) aroma, but reasonably clean and fresh, lightly grassy....very sweet, sugary upfront, pretty dull and bland at midpalate, somewhat dry at the finish...no real hop presence, muted pale malts....bland but more drinkable than the majority of A-B products, certainly.
Panzuriel (958), Westerville, Ohio, USA Aug 15, 2008 Updated: Aug 16, 2008Thin, watery body. no discernable nose. very disappointing. weak flavor full adjuncts. disappointing all around. rbod (21), Davie, Florida, USA Aug 15, 2008 Not a terrible beer on a hot day. I prefer it over corona. Fairly watered down, a tad skunky, but drinkable with a liime. BEERGUY007 (169), Scotia, New York, USA Aug 15, 2008 see through yellow huge head. Smells skunky. You know, I was never a fan of the clear bottles. Anyway, the taste was better than the smell but not much. A little citrusy, then wheaty. ehhh... ratman197 (2242), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 13, 2008 Clear bottle poured a clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread. light citrus and a hint of skunk. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light straw and light citrus with a crisp clean finish. DeadGuyFrank (326), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Aug 12, 2008 Don’t let anyone fool you; Made by Bud tastes like a blend of Bud and Miller High Life.
