Oct 1, 2007 Bottled. An unclear murky brown beer wtih a large off-white head. The aroma is sweet with some acidic notes from the wheat, as well as notes of smoke, malt, and banana. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of smoke.

Oct 23, 2006 A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Quinns. Nice dunkelweiss banana aroma. Standard looks. Creamy malty body with an obvious note of chocolate. Too buch carb and no finesse in the mouth.

Jun 30, 2004 Huge foamy off-white head; murky brown body. More yeast than banana in the nose. Rather dry, slightly malty, with a spicy touch (coriander?). Light to medium body.

Jun 14, 2004 Bottle conditioned, from Fabeers in York. Hazy red brown, good lasting off white head and good condition. Sweet banana and yeast initialy in the nose with some coffee notes creeping in, a touch of plasticy phenols and a splattering of cow crap. Quite sweet and faintly fruity in the mouth with a spicy (aniseed?) edge and a developing dry chalky roastiness. Finish is a little thin and tinny with some dryness developing.
