iowaherkeye (1413), relocated to Santa Rosa f/Iowa, California, USA Aug 21, 2008 12oz bottle notched on October (purchase before date), thanks to riversideAK (Alex). Hazy golden with a one finger fading off-white head. Aroma of grape jelly, raspberry preserves, and some Trix(R) cereal. The flavor is still fruity, but less sweet and a bit more tart--I get a hint of lemon acidity. Plenty of sweet wheat in the finish. Bitterness is minimal. I got a bit of a Cherry Luden’s cough drop in the aftertaste on a couple swallows. Low prickly carbonation with a light body. Not too bad, actually--though I don’t think I could make it through more than one or two in a night. mjg74 (1803), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 Bottle from Hamilton, MT. Pours a lightly hazy golden color. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavor is quite sweet with some graininess. stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 29, 2008 Say what you like about liking fruit beers, but this might be my favorite. The honey helps to bring out the taste of huckleberry. skoisirius (480), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 12, 2008 Biast already as I know they use fakey syrup flavors. Pours a light golden. The aroma is what this ones got going for it. Lots of huckleberry sweetness all over. Flavor is rather boring mixed with some honey and fake huckleish flavors. No finish. jake65 (1274), Meridian, Idaho, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle: Golden pour with a large, fizzy white head. Instant aroma of huckleberries. In fact, the fruity berry smell takes over the room. Smooth taste is a milder blend of the berries and sweet maltiness. A crisp, citrus like sweetness is present as well. Nice body and a easy drinker. Not a bad session brew.
