There’s a strong honey-like mustiness underlying plenty of sweet fruit in the nose. While it isn’t necessarily an aroma that makes me think of beer, it is quite pleasant. Clear golden body topped by a small white head that dissipates quickly leaving only a slight, large bubbled ring. Lemon citrus tartness blends well with the fruit character leaving it less sweet than the aroma suggests. Wheat flavour is quite apparent in the aftertaste. Very light body is somewhat prickly with fairly strong prickly carbonation. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle. Purchase before 08/08. Shilo Inn at Moses Lake. Aug-08.

12oz bottle notched on October (purchase before date), thanks to riversideAK (Alex). Hazy golden with a one finger fading off-white head. Aroma of grape jelly, raspberry preserves, and some Trix(R) cereal. The flavor is still fruity, but less sweet and a bit more tart--I get a hint of lemon acidity. Plenty of sweet wheat in the finish. Bitterness is minimal. I got a bit of a Cherry Luden’s cough drop in the aftertaste on a couple swallows. Low prickly carbonation with a light body. Not too bad, actually--though I don’t think I could make it through more than one or two in a night.

Bottle from Hamilton, MT. Pours a lightly hazy golden color. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavor is quite sweet with some graininess.

Say what you like about liking fruit beers, but this might be my favorite. The honey helps to bring out the taste of huckleberry.

Biast already as I know they use fakey syrup flavors. Pours a light golden. The aroma is what this ones got going for it. Lots of huckleberry sweetness all over. Flavor is rather boring mixed with some honey and fake huckleish flavors. No finish.

Bottle: Golden pour with a large, fizzy white head. Instant aroma of huckleberries. In fact, the fruity berry smell takes over the room. Smooth taste is a milder blend of the berries and sweet maltiness. A crisp, citrus like sweetness is present as well. Nice body and a easy drinker. Not a bad session brew.

Another fruit beer. This poured a cloudy yellow, and left very little head or lacing. Nose of malts and not much else. light mouthfeel. Not much flavor, of fruit or anything else. Finish is dry. I was not very impressed. Best part was label art.

pours hazy blonde. Smells very sweet. Taste is very sweet. They are not shy about hiding the berry flavor.
