Bottled. Had a faint sweet honey finish. The berry tasted artifical to me.

I do not like fruited up (what I call "umbrella beers"), and this is a prime example of why. It’s not "light and refreshing" as advertised. It’s a carbonated fruit drink, more like a berry soda than a beer.

This is another beer that came as part of my beer club from a brewery that I have never heard from. Sounded interesting at least. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle the beer poured a light golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. There was a strong sour berry scent. A bit skunky on the scent as well, and the berry smelled artificial. Tasted like skunky macro swill poured over Frankenberry cereal. Thin texture. Rather foul but somehow I managed to drink the whole glass. I am not proud of that however.

Strange odor, light in color with a small head. Fruit flavor is very muted, and it needs some bite on the end to keep it from being cloying. Not a drain pour, but I wouldn’t buy it.

Very light orange gold color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is berries, honey and sweet. A light bodied fruit beer. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. There is a very slight hop bitterness. It does have the taste of huckleberries, and they are identifiable as such. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. There are no discernable flavor flaws in this beer; it’s just that there is really very little flavor at all. Everything seems toned down and muted. A touch thin and watery. Nothing really to recommend it beyond that it’s made with huckleberries. Mouthfeel is a little thin and watery. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of berries.

Poured straw yellowwith a suprising thick creamy head. Aroma was of Raspberries and some off aroma that I can’t place. Taste was very sweet, intially of raspberries(i guess that’s the huckleberries) then the honey. Not much hop flavor to speak of.

oveall it was lightly bodied. Poured a golden color with almost no head. Aroma was sweet with honey. The taste was initially sweet, probably from the honey. Had a tart after taste.

Bottle. Bitter, sour, in a hard-to-describe way. Honey and huckleberries describes it pretty well. Pungent aroma...this stuff just wasn’t meant to be put in beer.
