Damn, there seems to be half a quarter inch of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Poured out a liquid that pretty much equals the bottom of a jug of pineapple juice that has settled with some decent white fuzz which acts similar to fine pulp that has settled at the top of a glass of orange juice. The whole glass has a film where ever there was once beer. Very fresh and sour oranges (in a good way, not the out in the sun quartered orange on a plate way) and some wheat. The taste is something else compared to other west coast hefes. Ha! Now I know the flavour! MIMOSA - champagne and orange juice. Wheat and a very weak spice. Fairly thick over all, leaves a heavy coating in my mouth, not quite as heavily carbonated as a mimosa but still, it’s pretty prominent. Kinda creamy as well. Finishes long, fresh and sour. Man, the sediment pile left over is pretty insanely thick and unmovable. Well as far as a hefe goes, this doesn’t really rank too high but getting surprised with a beer that mimics a drink I have once a year during a special holiday breakfast sure as hell counts as something in my books. I would get obliterated if I had a ton of this in the summer.

Pour this beer into my heffe glass at 45 degrees. There is a one finger tan head that didn’t last. The body of the beer is medium gold color. There is a lot of effervesce in the beer. The clarity of the beer is slightly hazy. Nose: A medium wheat aroma with some citrus. Can’t tell if there is Mandrins in the beer tho. There is some floral ester aroma. Taste: The the wheat flavor in the beer is mild and the citrus is just mild. There is a touch of floral esters in the beer . Overall: The mouth feel of the beer is carbonate and a little bitter. The body of the beer is light and the finish is nill. it is just an Okay beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was strong orange with a wheaty malt undertone. The flavor was tangy, sour and bitter with a moderate vague citrus element and a light wheaty malt undertone. The finish was long, bitter and sour. Eh.

Hazy yellow, small white head. Citrus SOAP aroma.. soapy taste like that orange detergent you see, watered down, some sourness. Thin watery palate. Horrible..i hope this was off.

Bottle bought at Yellowstone NP. It’s really cool how Yellowstone carries a decent selection of local craft beers. Pours a clear gold with almost no head. Some tiny white bubbles float around. The aroma is very nice; tons of ripe oranges and some wheat. The flavor was similar; a bunch of mandarin oranges balanced by a good wheat aspect. The finish is all wheat. Very nice and natural flavor. Enjoyable.
