| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 29, 2008 This is just a step away from being undrinkable. Astringent and artificial, with a hint of wheatiness in the background. Tastes commercial, I should have been suspicious when it said malt beverage with natural flavors. There is nothing natural about this. Drainpour. skoisirius (584), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Biast once again due to fakey flavoring. Surprisingly hazy. Golden color. Aroma definitely brings a pleasant orangey citrus note blended with wheat. Flavor is fairly dry with the mandarine note tucked in between the wheat. Refreshing in the summer...that’s about it. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2008 A surprisingly cloudy yellow beer. Mandarin citrus oil aroma, like pinching the peel. Same authentic mandarin citrus flavour without being really sweet-- interesting. Finish is dry and acidic. Very refreshing. Truly a nice surprise! kitschy (207), Nebraska, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2008 in bottle. fuzzy gold color, smells like a can of freshly opened mandarin oranges. not quite as orangey as I had hoped, but very refreshing; a fine summer beer. hopdog (5604), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 26, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a medium and lightly hazy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. There was something about this aroma that I just didn’t like. I wrote down lots of plastic / beach ball with some citrus and wheat sneaking through. Tastes of oranges and wheat. That nasty platic was not in the tastes. Thinner body. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2008 In the bottle from 99 Bottles of Beer on federal Way in Seattle WA. Pours a deep cloudy yellow gold with a reasonable white head. The aroma smells a lot like the opening of one of those little cans of mandarin oranges. The flavor doesnot match the aroma very well. Only a mild orange taste. Mostly a yeasty doughy bite of the yeast. Okay, but not as good as the huckleberry from this same brewer. dirt55 (155), Washington, USA
