Sample on tap at the Tamarack. Orange creamsicle aroma. Pale yellow. Creamy white head. More cream flavour with orange on the side. Interesting for the patio perhaps.

Received single 12-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of light white bread malt, a touch of citrus and mandarin oranges. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of mild instant orange Tang, white bread dough, grassy hops a touch of allspice, and some white pepper. Finish is semi-dry with a thin orange/coriander aftertaste that quickly disappears.

2008 Bottle - Cloudy pour with a small white head, orange malt aroma, pretty tame for an unfiltered wheat, not enough yeast or bread (or taste) in my opinion, will not drink again...

Pours amber with a white head. Smells of mandarins, dough, some dry malt. Tastes tarte with some touches of mandarines. Decent, but a little thin on the palate.

Bottle from riversideAK. Thanks Alex. Henning poured this into an Ommegang tulip and it came out a yellow golden color with a small white head that fades fast. I tried hard but didn’t get much mandarin (or any citrus) aroma at all from the nose. However, I did not get any rotten eggs or vomit like beerbrat. Thank God. Flavor was equally weak with some malt and dust. Meh.

Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color with a small fast disappearing white head. Has a wheaty tart citrus aroma with some hints of manadrin in the background. Sweet malty and slightly dusty orange flavor. Sweetish malty finish with some weak hints of mandarin orange in the aftertaste.

Draft. Pours a very turbid straw color. White head with some retention and lacing. Aroma is very offensive and smells like rotten eggs and vomit. The taste is a bit better with notes of wheat and orange sweetness in the finish. Had to dump the pint. An odd beer that appears to have some issues with drinkability.
