Commercial Description:
Skydiver Blonde is a light, medium bodied, Dutch-style blonde ale. The nose is mildly hoppy, with a hint of malt that is showcased from the first sip to the last. Smooth, well-balanced flavor, a real thirst quencher. ABV: 4.3% Color: Golden Malt: Pale, Munich Hops: Centennial, Liberty

My favourite Lang Creek brew. Aroma: malt, fruit, floral. Deep blonde colour. Incredibly creamy palate. A healthy dose of hops, yet still malty and light. Very well balanced. My only complaint is a slight wet dog aroma about it. My first inkling would have been to put this more as a blonde than a belgian, but I’ll buy it either way.

a Belgian?? I don’t see how so. It’s a blonde ale. An average blonde ale at that. Nothing to write home about on this one.

Pale orange colured. Somewhat sweetish. Relatively thin. Did I have a bad bottle, or did I miss something on this one?

A good drink with a turkey sandwich. I am not a fan of blonde ales, but this one will have you asking for more.

I’m not much of a fan of lighter beers. Most ’blond’ ales or lagers I’ve tasted have been quite bland. That said, this is the best ’blond’ I’ve ever tried. Although on the lighter side it presents some character. Finely carbonated, smooth texture, fair amount of malt and a crisp, clean hop presence. Finishes dry and refreshing. Classy stuff.

Wonderful hop aroma. Light, but very flavorful. Like Gusler said, this beer leaves the macros in the dust. Only complaint: not enough malt flavor... but hey, it’s a Blonde Ale, what do you expect? Otherwise, it was very refreshing; I’d drink it again... and again. Neat brewery (’the most remote brewery’); check out www.langcreekbrewery.com

The beer after disburdening itself from the 12 ounce brown bottle sits in the glass a clear amber color with the head bright white and modest in size, the texture frothy and the lace a thin white veil to occult the glass. Nose is crisp and fresh, sweet malt aroma dominates and overall pleasing to the senses. Start is somewhat sweet, fair malt presence, the top light in its feel to the palate with the finish brisk in its acidity and the hops benign in their spiciness, quite dry aftertaste, but a nice drinkable beer.
