Amer color with decent head. Nice fruity maltiness in aroma and flavor with notes of nuttiness, dough, candi, and chocolate and a tad of damp sock.

12oz Bottle - Gravity Room - Olympia, WA.
Aroma – A nice mild amber aroma with a subtle amount of hops
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a thick head.
Flavor – A great amber malt flavor with some hops. Needed a tad more flavor for my liking.
Palate – Was dry and good to the finish just an avergae amber
Overall –A decent beer for those who like average. This could have been great with more spicy mals and a tad more hops.

Draft at Old Boise Brewfest: Orange amber color with a modest head. Smells lightly of caramel malt and citrus, taste followed suit. Basic amber with no suprises. I’d drink this again anytime.

This beer pours an amberish red color with a frothy slightly off white head with good lacing. From aesthetics alone I was pretty damn pleased with this beer. The aroma is pretty prominent for something i had low hopes for. Caramel and hops are in there with a chocolate or molasses undertone. The flavor is very dessert like and almost leads me to think this would be a nice dessert beer. Lighter carbonation levels with chocolate and caramel malt for sweetness and very little bittering hops in the finish and nuts to dry things up. Fairly dry finish, but no complaints. Smooth sipping beer that has probably been aging on me for 2 years now due to negligence.

Copper with a beige head and lots of lace, Decent hoppy aroma but the flavour is a bit boring.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with Larry Pitonka, thanks André!) Dry, malty, lightly roasty, with earth and dried leaves for a very Autumn kind of flavor in this lightly sweet amber ale. A moderately bitter and slightly citrusy hops adds decent balance. Earthy and lightly roasty nose doesn’t show much in the way of hops. Medium-full body clearly has a heavier mouthfeel than most in the style. Carbonation is good. Dark amber in color with seemingly perfect clarity. Small, off-white head shows solid retention, holding a thin layer for most of the session before finally turning into a halo. It’s not a bad amber ale, but it’s just not turning me on.
