| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2005 Nice looking dark amber color with a small white head. Nicely balanced in the nose with a touch of malt, hops, and a doughy sweetness. Then the beer takes things down a notch. Light bodied, thin and watery. Some malt flavoring throughout with an attempt at some sort of hop finish but overall the flavors are lacking. IndianaRed (1562), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Bottle Pours a clear dark redish amber. Very thick fluffy light tan head and heavy chunky lacing. Nice piney hop aroma with notes of cardboard and leather maybe. Flavor is mostly grassy light malts and littel bittering hops. Quite thin feel and soft carbonation. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2005 Ruby mahogany color, retentive off-white head and decent lacing. Light carbonation. Nose of brown sugar, plum and light boring hops, a touch of roasty malts (chocolate from the description). The flavor is tart, a bit fruity and a metallic mouthfeel. Thin but creamy. Decent amber, I like the chocolate malt twist but other than that it’s right at par. 5000 (2640), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2005 Bottle: Coppery amber, translucent, large sand colored head, foamy with very nice lacing, light carbonation.   Pale malty nose, otherwise fairly non-descript.   Pale malty flavor, slight grains, chocolate malt is apparent.   Hops emerge on the backside, but along with a little bit of a metallic tinge.   Body and mouthfeel seem average.   Finishes with a soft malt base.   This one looked awesome, but turned out to be a little less than ordinary.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 11, 2005 From Bottle. Pours a standard "Amber" colour that you’d expect from an amber, nothing special in the head or brillance of the liquid. Nose is a mild mix of malt/roast/hops with nothing really standing out or getting your attention. Drinks smooth from start to finish, nothing offending but nothing that impresses you either. Pretty middle of the road

Copper-brown colour with a thick white and persistant head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit malt and a bit of breadiness as well. Prominent citrus hop aroma. Flavour is well-balanced. Malty sweetness up front, with chewy bready malts in the middle and light bitterness and grapefruity cascades in the finish. Quite good. Oakes (8166), Kowloon, Hong Kong
