Sep 26, 2002 Medium brown color, medium head. Hoppy, and malty with lightly roasted malts. Good balance. Full mouthfeel. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Aug 13, 2002 Mostly caramel malty aroma, with some grapefruit sneaking in at the end. The hops take a much stronger role in the flavor, though the maltiness hasn’t gone anywhere. Fairly well-bodied, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing special, but certainly a solid beer, particularly for an amber.
