Bright reddish-amber colour. Earthy, slightly toasty aroma. Moderately bitter body with slight toastiness, lots of earthiness from both the crystal/carastan and Willamettes.

Mostly caramel malty aroma, with some grapefruit sneaking in at the end. The hops take a much stronger role in the flavor, though the maltiness hasn’t gone anywhere. Fairly well-bodied, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing special, but certainly a solid beer, particularly for an amber.

Pours reddish brown with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt, citrus, roses, sugar. Tastes earthy with some citrussy notes and a slightly peppery finish.

12 oz bottle. Thanks Oakes. Copper-brown colour with a thick white and persistant head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit malt and a bit of breadiness as well. Prominent citrus hop aroma. Flavour is well-balanced. Malty sweetness up front, with chewy bready malts in the middle and light bitterness and grapefruity cascades in the finish. Quite good.

Call it an amber, but it looks and tastes like a brown to me. Brown color with a thin tan head, it has a nutty malt aroma. A creamy mouth-feel with a spicy finish. Not a bad brew from my beer club.

Hazy amber color with a modest off white head. Pale malt and rose petal aroma. Some light resin in the nose throws things out of balance a touch. Malty caramel with a light fruit middle (raisins and pear). Hops come back and dry things out. Drinkable, but then again, most ambers are to me. Compliments of Mr. slikwily.
