Commercial Description:
Won the silver medal at the 2003 Paris agriculture fair. Amber of high fermentation on yeast and non-filtered and with final fermentation in bottle. With honey of Yonne.

When you enter wine area, remember to have stacked up beer somewhere. If not, go to the supermarche and buy this one, or preferably the four-pack with the Blanche, the Blonde and the Brune (sorry, the Brune and Blanche can not be rated here on ratebeer.com). When you enter wine areas all over the world, then the local beers get round, smooth and have weighted palate. This is so true with this Amber Ale beer. Low expectation left me with high gratification. I was fairly suprised! One liquid reason more to visit Bourgondy.

Bottled. Cloudy amber color, short head. Aroma of some caramel malt, bit hop, again hint of honey. Slight sweet taste, some malt. Bit like palm and de koninck.

Pours a hazy orange color with lots of sediments and a pale yellow foamy head. Aroma are fruity with caramel and flowers. Flavors of fruits and flowers with a touch of caramel and a honey sweet finish. A very well made beer, very enjoyable to drink and a great blend of flavors.
