Cask @ "The Man Of Kent" Rochester. Simple eazy to sink old man type of beer, this 28 year old digged it too. Dusty hops are spicy and floral. Toffee malts ..some fruity orange..earth ..pine and lemon zest. This beer ,despite being floral-does taste a bit like its got cobwebs all over it. Dusty yeast or something. Nice brew anyway bozo.

Light light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Copper colour with thin off white head. Slightly oaky, some toffee, dull and slightly astringent citric bitterness. Boring.

Cask conditioned at The Kent Beer Fest, Canterbury. Amber to brown with white head. For the ABV this is an excellent quaffing bitter, hoppy, grassy, dry and light, very decent indeed.

This was available on the SPA Valley Railway Fish and Chip Special from a pin. I will try to find it on draught as soon as possible. A very pleasant ale, well balanced with a light hoppy finish.
