Not on Board. Props for going out there with this one, but this one will not be gracing my fridge ever again. Too much ginger. Smelled and tasted like ginger ale with a sharp orange zest that just highlighted everything that I found wrong in the drink. Like Great Divide’s Samurai Rice Beer - like the originality, but it just does not work for me. Smelled nice. Not for beer. But I would not mind having a scented candle version of this beer.

Great balance of ginger and light hops. Went well with the variety of sushi we were chowing on. One thing I Iove about Laughing Buddha, is they accomplish these "off-kilter" beers cleanly, but with plenty of excitement. Refreshing and makes the palate happy.

Bottle: Copper pour with a small beige head. Just standing there shooting the breeze I notice this massive aroma of ginger floating through the air. Wow! The doesn’t have that same ginger potency, but still is rich with spices and florals. Some mild maltiness. Thanks Jordan.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity ginger aroma. Fruity malty and lot of ginger in the flavor. Sweetish malty ginger finish.

Hazy moderate amber with a nice yellowish tan head. Big ginger and apple aroma. Sweet malty and plenty of ginger in the flavor as well. A bit much on th pe ginger, but the sweetness madw it a bit moee lit soda pop than beer. Weird but ok. Soft carbonation and smooth.
