Sep 18, 2009 Moderately resiny citrus hop nose with caramel. Mostly clear amber/orange golden. Frothy off-white head. Sweet caramel and toasty graininess with resiny citrus hop flavor and tons of bitterness. Finish is quite bitter. Alcohol is evident but not forward.

Sep 17, 2009 22oz. pours crystal clear and golden orange with small white head. aroma is slight but of grapefruit and a touch of earthiness. mouthful is very crisp and full of good bitterness. Grapefruit dominates with a touch of pine. there seems to be a lack of the malt to back up the hops... but nice hop bomb.

smell of light grapefruit, a touch of pine, citrus, some caramel, a touch floral, and some dandelion.
taste is crisp, bitter hops, pine, caramel, citrus, and earthy, end is nicely bitter.

Sep 11, 2009 Pour is a bright orange with a whtie head. Aroma is an adequate amount of pine hops and some sweet malts. Flavor is lots of sweet malt with a minor hop profile and finishes with a bit of plastic on the tounge. Could be and old or bad bottle but this does not have much of a hop punch to it after the initial aroma. Cheap enough for a try though at only $4.99 a bottle.

Sep 11, 2009 Updated: Nov 12, 2009Golden with a chunky white head. The aroma is rather sweet and malty alongside the resinous hops. There’s not a whole lot of hop in the aroma for an IPA. A lot of caramel is present in the flavor and aroma. The hops are mostly in the finish, which is piney and dry. A pretty decent IIPA, but I find the flavor too unbalanced to consider it great. Too much sweetness that doesn’t mesh with the hops.

Sep 7, 2009 Yellow orange in color. Smells of pine, citrus, grapefruit, sea breeze, soap, dawn soap, hop flavored soap aroma. Taste is kind of typical. Plastic on the finish though brings it down.
