Pours semi clear amber with chunky off white head, leaves lots of beautiful spider lace. Nose is all citrus and subtle pine. Taste is caramel, grapefruit, pine, pear, orange. THis one is all about the hops, like an IIPA should be, not venturing into barleywine territory like too many IIPAs do these days. THis one is hops, hops, hops, and a nice profile of hops at that. Damn this is seriously under-rated likely because it is not heavy or high abv like sooo may IIPA’s are. ABV and heavyiness be damned! Gimme hops and gime more hops...and this has hops..this is what a IIPA should be! Body is medium, alc is not noticable, meaning this one is chuggably dangerous! scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Deep grassy pine aromas warm to swirls of honey dew and peachy toffee. Intense bitter resiny citric hops balance on a undercurrents of caramelized melon. Full bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. A very well crafted I-IPA... urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

I really haven’t had such a good hop bomb in a long time. This was just tremendous. Sticky, never syrupy, sweet and not cloying. Clean. Citric. And there were a lot of really fun flavors in there--those that actually made my eyes pop when I noticed them. Highly recommended. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

The hops really come out as flavor and aromatic hops with the emphasis on the flavor. This makes for a very tasty beer. Beautiful beer as well. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Bottle from Craft Ale. Pours turbid orangy with 2-finger fluffy off-white head. Nose is juicy hops, grapefruit, orange marmalade, some sweet honey and fructosey fruit. Tastes rich, creamy, with a lot of sticky wet hops, orange, tangerine, pineapple, and a solid caramel malt bill to match all the hops. This one is rock solid. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Pours amber with a lasting white head. Smells of citrus and yeasty. Tastes of sweet citrus, some grapefruit, some peppery splashes, caramel and a bitter, spicy finish. Surprising and good. Birdiebeagle (788), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle Pours a lightly hazy golden with a white head. The head last fairly well, and makes decent lacing. Has a good hoppy aroma of fruit and nuts. Has a good carbination. A real good mouthfeel. An oily texture. Real good hoppy flavors. A real good bitter finish, with a real good aftertaste. This is a medium bodied beer. Has some real good characteristics of an Dipa. This is a tasty beer. But I love DIPA’s.
