Meh- it wasn’t great, but it wasn’t too bad either- I cant see the applause, nor could I find the diacetyl that some were complaining about. Appearance is a woody clean deep copper with a nice tight foamy head and moderate lace. Aroma was a bit on the harsh side of the hops- very resiny, cohumulone- almost a smokey tea- and pineyness- sappy and harshing- some solvent. Flavor is also a cleanser, harsh cohumulone- chinook, N brewer, etc piney sappy, resin, moderate malt backbone- some sweetness, and more hashing bitterness. Not bad, but just an average to below average DIPA, seems amateurish actually.

The hops really come out as flavor and aromatic hops with the emphasis on the flavor. This makes for a very tasty beer. Beautiful beer as well. highibus (430), Mill Creek, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Pours light amber. Great lacing. Decent aroma but a little lacking for a iipa. Decent flavor some hop presence and a malty backbone. Not bad but just not a top tier iipa to me. Sparky27 (1588), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours hazy orange with a long lasting 3 finger beige head that leaves great lacing. The nose is floral hops, caramel and grapefruit. The taste is ripe citrus, caramel and grapefruit with a long lasting bitter pine finish. Medium bodied – tasty IIPA. Thanks Brad! beernovice39 (256), South Carolina, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bomber from State Line Liquors. A big pour, slight haze to the pale orange body and a scrumptious looking creamy head. Huge resin, grapefruit, and pine in the aroma, which gives way ever so moderately to mild floral and citrus flavors (maybe even a bit of mango too) in the taste. Delicious stuff, full bodied and with a smooth finish despite the bitterness. Really well balanced DIPA. Hoptagon (140), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 13, 2009 22oz. Bomber. Great looking beer with a rich golden honey color and a heavily lacing white layer of froth. Can say this from the get go, this beer is hoppy up front, at the end and everywhere in between. Big fragrant nose with a fair balance of pine and citrus. Tasty flavor profile with a fair amount of bitterness, some grapefruit, a tiny bit of grass and a subtle layer of malt sweetness. Body is relatively light which helps to showcase the hops. Finish is dry and mildly bitter. Not the best I’ve ever had, but pretty decent overall. dand645 (100), Bayonne, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Bomber - Pours a cloudy orange with one finger of head that leaves a little lacing throughout - Citrus hops in the aroma - Bitter on palate - Doesn’t seem to have much a malt backbone - Goes down smooth for a DIPA - Overall I liked it
