Dec 5, 2009 Such a hit and miss brewery. Has a light chocolate flavor. Its dark. The huckleberry just ruins this ale and give it no lasting or distinguished flavor.

Dec 3, 2009 Holiday Ale Fest... Poured near black. A mess of a beer. Nice chocolate notes but mostly an overly medicinal, huckleberry flavor. Not very stout like and a near garbage pour.

Aug 22, 2009 On tap at Boise Beer Fest Pours out a brown topped with a tan head. Aroma was tons of huckleberries. I know the price of huckleberries is pretty high I wonder how much was in this batch??? Well on with it. Aroma was also of sweet chocolate. Taste was more of the berries and chocolate. I also picked up some light smoke and charcoal. A little bitterness on the end. A fun brew.

Aug 9, 2009 The Ceremonial 1st beer, served in a small white paper cup. Monster nose of chocolate and raspberry and various other dark fruits.. Dark, dark brown with a small tan head, leaving behind as much lacing as can stick to the sides of a paper cup. Very tasty and smooth, although it kind of drops off in the finish.
