Commercial Description:
Our Crème Ale is a traditional crème ale with both ale and lager yeast, this gives us the creamy smoothness of an ale with a nice dry crisp finish. The Creme Ale is great on hot summer days.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with jake65 (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear golden color with a large sized head. Aromas of lots of grains, very husky, somewhat earthy, and salty. Tastes of grains and sweet malts.

Pale yellow pour with thin white head. Floral tart aroma. Bready taste dominated by extremely tangy and sour bitter finish. Good carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. I wonder if something is wrong with this batch?

Mineral character is present along with earthy, and floral hops in the nose. Lightly hazy golden body is topped by a low white large bubbled head that recedes rapidly to a thin partial cover with a bit of lacing. Husky and grainy and overly mineral flavour up front with floral character in the aftertaste. Bitterness is quite strong and very sharp and tangy. Other than a light sweetness there is little malt character. Very dry, astringent and puckering with fair carbonation. Not sure if I just got a bad bottle but this really isn’t working for me. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Bottleworks, Aug-08).

Bottle in trade from ditmier. Thanks!!Pours a rich, hazy light orange color with a short lived white head. Smell is quite chalky, and lightly malty and very earthy. Taste is moderately sweet and dry at the same time, with some earthy and chalky flavors. Kind of a crisp and tart lemony bite at the end along with a slightly bubbly carbonation to it. Medium bodied. Pretty tasty, and better than the average cream ale for sure.

Light hazy amber. Light floral/fruity hoppiness on the nose. Fresh pale malt body with bright floral hop character. Well-integrated...even a bit of creaminess.
