| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 15, 2006 True representation of An ACA just like the little kings ale of old.Aroma: Faint malt notes. A sweet, corn-like aroma Appearance: Pale straw Brilliant, sparkling clarity.
Flavor: Low hop bitterness. Low maltiness and sweetness, varying with gravity and attenuation. Well attenuated. Neither malt nor hops prevail in the taste. Mouthfeel: Generally light and crisp, although body can reach medium. Smooth mouthfeel with medium to high attenuation; higher attenuation levels can lend a “thirst quenching” finish. High carbonation.
Overall Impression: A clean, well-attenuated, flavorful American lawnmower beer.

Nothing special about the aroma, the flavor is hard to pinpoint, some ginger, but i am unimpressed with this beer, It should be creamy. It just isn’t that good. cstuartj (326), Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2009 THOUGHTS: My first good cream ale. Very crisp and refreshing, yet flavorful. Way more citrus than I would have expected.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, light yellow with an average, almost white head that slowly diminished and kept a thin sheet and left good lacing. The aroma was light yeast, lemon citrus mostly, some fruit and some flowers. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, acidic and slightly sour; while the finish was acidic, ever so slightly bitter and slightly sour with a short to average duration. There was lemon citrus mostly, lost of fruit, some floral notes and a little yeast, too. The light to medium body was sort of creamy and dry with fizzy carbonation and a chalky, dry and light to moderately astringent finish. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy straw body with a white head. Nice fruity esters, hints of citrus, lemon, light passion fruit and mildly tart. Almost slightly infected but in a good way. Sweet and drying. Nice brew. poisoneddwarf (216), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 14, 2009 12 oz bottle. Smells pretty bland, almost like a premium lager. The grains I smell don’t smell quite as cheap though. Pours golden with a quickly dissipating medium-sized head. Decent lacing. Definitely creamy, full-bodied. Tastes of quality grain, some malt sweetmess. I’m pleasantly surprised by this one. I wasn’t expecting much. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear gold with nice white head. The aroma is full of grains and floral hops, some lemony citrus and some hay too. Very nice. The taste begins with a pulse of peanut butter then moving toward fresh grains, floral hops and a sting of lemon like acidity for added interest and balance. I love the taste of this. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Bottle. Sweet and bubbly sugar and apple juice nose, well, more like cheap champagne. Bright, clear yellow-golden body with a loud, fizzy white head. Taste is dryish and very effervescent, light yeast and sour metallic notes. Crisp medium body. Husky, grainy, bright hops really firm pale malts (and yes, I have tasted these before in Aussie beers). Can’t bear to finish this by itself, but likely would be very good with food. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 1, 2009 Bottle from Canal’s in Lawrencevile. Hazy banana yellow under a firm white head with lots of lacing. Yeasty, mildly spicy aroma. Very tart. Some malt and toasted biscuit in there as well. Nothing special in the texture but not too thin. Pretty dry finish. Either a bad batch with some bottling line contamination or could be an intentional blend of a Flemish Sour and a Pale Ale. Didn’t work for me.
