The aroma was of citrus and subdued caramel with a hint of cherry. Poured a slightly hazy reddish-orange color with a thin off white head. Slightly sweet with mild hop bitterness that peaked toward the end. Smooth mouth feel with carbonation on the lower end of the spectrum. I tasted pale malt, light green vegetable, citrus fruits, and a hint of spruce. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA

Overall a pretty good beer. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2008 Pours a transparent copper amber with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty caramel malts and a touch of English hops. Body start fairly full and caramely sweet with a good balance of English malts and bitterness before a smooth, drinkable finish. A true to style and enjoyable ESB. I’d love to try this on cask.
