Commercial Description:
Hey, what can we say? Dogs do like to sniff down there. A British style ESB with the Laughing Dog twist. It's clean and smooth, the way an ESB should be. Silver Medal NABA.

Bottle shared by pepsican. Thanks Andy. The aroma was of citrus and subdued caramel with a hint of cherry. Poured a slightly hazy reddish-orange color with a thin off white head. Slightly sweet with mild hop bitterness that peaked toward the end. Smooth mouth feel with carbonation on the lower end of the spectrum. I tasted pale malt, light green vegetable, citrus fruits, and a hint of spruce.

Stud tasting 1.0 held at general_gaos. Thanks for putting up with us colin! Amber pour with little head. Caramel and toffee aroma. Flavor is more toffee, some orange, earth, chocolate, and tangerines. Finishes mildly bitter, good carbonation. Opened up quite a bit when it warmed up, lots of citrus hops going on in this one.

Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a medium-sized, foamy, ivory-colored head. Smell: Toasty, biscuity maltiness with some caramel and even some spiciness slinking around. Taste: Toasted biscuits with a caramel sweetness and some grainy hints. Sip of clean spring water. Light fruitiness. Spicy, medium bitterness. Bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. A tad watery. Drinkability: An overall decent American-made ESB.

An amber apperance with a small head. The aroma isnt a crotch but instead some caramel, dark malts, and a hint of citrus. The flavor is slighty bitter and rather malty with some dark fruits, caramel, and a hint of lemons. Overall a pretty good beer.

Pours a transparent copper amber with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty caramel malts and a touch of English hops. Body start fairly full and caramely sweet with a good balance of English malts and bitterness before a smooth, drinkable finish. A true to style and enjoyable ESB. I’d love to try this on cask.
