Laughing Dog Devil Dog Imperial IPA

22 oz bottle. Pours a semi clear amber with an average sized off white head. Nose is fruity and herbal. Taste is mosasses, tangerine, pineapple, pine. Body is full, cabonation is medium. I prefer the more hop heavy alpha dog as this borders on barlewine terrirory. Needs more hops please.

this beer was way over-hopped for my liking. 4 kinds of hops, but there were no other flavor notes.

Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Deep golden orange colour, small creamy white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, sme mildly sugary notes as well as some alcohol. Flavour is not as sweet, but mainly consisting of the same as the aroma. Bigtime hops and also some caramel malts. Dry and bitter finish.

Hoppy, dark amber, and crisp. A very good example of an imperial IPA. The alcohol is noticable, but not undesired.

I knew it would be good when the aroma hit me before the bottle top hit the floor. Wonderful pine, citrus and floral aroma from a dark amber pour with a big fluffy head that laces nicely. Flavor is well balanced with malty sweetness up front and a bitter hop bite to end. Finishes very dry and refreshing.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a clear dark orange with a fat off-white head with big bubbles and decent lacing rings. Nose of citrus and floral hops. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Flavor shows the alcohol, with some pine notes to go with the citrus and flowers. Seriously bitter but in a nice way. Finish is long and bitter as well. A very well make and enjoyable IIPA.

On draft at Teresa’s. Poured amber with an eggshell color head that left rings of lace. Big and malty and what seemed like some rye qualities coming through. Resinous, piney flavor. Some warming alcohol noticeable at the finish. A solid IIPA.
