Jun 16, 2009 22oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazed rusty orange color with a 2 finger thick beige head that left some nice lacing on the tulip glass. Nose was lightly hopped with tons of sweet malts and candied tree fruits. Flavor was much of the same with a nice bitter kick at the end to remind me this was an IIPA. Seemed like this beer might have been sitting around a bit before I got it seeing as it was lacking the big hop punch in the nose, still a pretty tasty brew.

Jun 15, 2009 22 oz bottle from Market of Choice. My 666th review!!! And what an appropriate choice. Light amber-orange in color with a tiny white head with little retention and moderate lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit, tangerine and grapefruit, light orange. Flavor is very citrus and pine, the slightest bit bitter and a tad boozy. A solid IIPA, would definitely drink again.

Jun 13, 2009 Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, hops, grass, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, grass, and alcohol, leading to a quite bitter finish.

May 22, 2009 22oz bottle–pours a tight foamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is musty medium malt-caramel, bready, secondary herbal/pine hops. Taste is musty medium malt-toffee, bready, alcohol. Raisin (some times), tea leaf/pine hops bit which hold thru the after taste. Occasional. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing. 3.2

May 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a honey amber body with an off white head. Strong malty pine and caramel with a strong hoppy bitterness and etoh latent pine. Mellows as it goes on with hints of honey and light citrus. Nice brew.

May 6, 2009 Hazy chestnut with nice tan head. Aroma is tangerine and other citrus with an odd bit of onion. Taste is the same, and a tiny bit boozy. $8/22oz

May 4, 2009 Clear amber in color with a medium lasting off white head...good lacing on my unibroue glass. Aroma of citrus, pine, with alot of caramel/crystal malts and light touches of fruit mixing in. The taste is also pretty malty, alot of caramel/molasses, a moderate amount of hops, tastes more like an American Barleywine than a IIPA. Citrus and Pine, somewhat subdued by all of the malt. Full bodied and sweet. Not my kind of IIPA. I personally liked Alpha Dog alot more.

May 1, 2009 Pours a murky and muddy amber/copper/brown with a very little bit of white head. The nose is really exploding with citrusy hops. Still, it note really a scent I’m familiar with. Tangerine? Grapefruit? I don’t know. Its certainly aggressive though. Lots of big, brash citrus with a touch of pine. The grapefruit is unmistakable here. There’s just a touch of malt there, which is the way it should be in an IIPA. Medium body with refreshing carbonation. Very dry and a long bitter as all hell finish. We have all hops all the time here folks. But I’m not quite sur this blend if hops agrees with me.
