Pours ultra clear amber with a thin white head. Smells and tastes like a PB&J. Interesting I guess, but not what I had in mind. beerbill (1982), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with ditmier. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a thin-moderate sudsy white head that disappeared after the first sip and left no lace. Mild aroma of berries, which I assume are huckleberries, along with a bit of malt. The flavor is again mild huckleberries and malt. Light bitterness at the finish. Very effervescent and spritzy on the palate; more like a soda than a beer. So so. Ughsmash (4095), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy light-medium orange with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet huckleberries (not that I’d know the aroma unless it was stated on the label ;) over a soft pale malt and light fruity base.. not too exciting, but well-balanced. The flavor had more of a tangy and spicy aspect of the fruit over a dry bready and honeyed core.. tart finish, but not in a refreshing way. Lighter-bodied with poor flow across the palate (almost syrupy right on front with a big tart kick showing shortly after).. this was also more scratchy and dry than creamy.. didn’t care much for this. anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

Fruity huckleberry aroma. Sweetish malty fruity creamy huckleberry flavor with some tart hints. Sweetish malty fruity huckleberry finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. boFNjackson (1323), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Bottle... Poured yellow/golden with a white head that faded immediately. Aroma of berries, maybe like a wine-cooler. Definitely unique but not something I could get into. I had to drain this one, felt like it was giving me heart burn. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Poured gold with no head. Detect strong huckleberry and green grapes. Tart taste, watery, but enjoyable. troopie (909), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale gold with thin fast dissipating head. Strong aroma of huckleberries. Tastes of huckleberries and a bit of malt. Actually seems overbalanced with the fruit. Tart berry finish then turns flat. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Tap @ Piper Pub - Pale golden color and clear with a very nice frothy egg white head. The nose is lovely with real fruit as opposed to that artifical fruit extract sweetness. Huckleberries and hints of spice. Unfortunately this one falls short on the palate and is quite lackluster. A very weak cream ale with biscuity pale maltiness, and finishes kind of flat and watery.
