Commercial Description:
The huckleberry is native to the Pacific Northwest and is prized for it’s sweetness and texture. To celebrate summer and the huckleberry picking season, we have blended real huckleberries with our cream ale. Smooth and creamy with a light touch of huckleberries, it would be great at the lake, a bbq or simply just relaxing away a long summer day. Just like the berries, Huckleberry Cream Ale with be available for your enjoyment for a limited time! You never know when it will be gone until next year

Bottle, courtesy ditmier. Pours a dark straw color, with a thin white head, and a nice ring of lacing on the glass. Strawberries in the nose, mango, cream and banana, some brown sugar. Flavor has a lot of what I can only assume is huckleberry (never tasted it?), strawberry. Very creamy, tastes like a breakfast strudel. It rules. Crisp and immensely drinkable. Thin-bodied overall. Second cream ale I’ve had from this brewery, both rock.

wow! delicious! where has the huckleberry been all my life? Sweet and delicious, taste is akin to blueberry, but more... foresty? there are hops in this beer, in a way that compliments the berries. the palate is wonderfully smooth. one bottle filled three glasses because of the huge head... I’d say don’t store these real long or they might blow.

In the bottle from 99 Bottles in Federal Way WA. This was an absurd joke to pour. It freakin’ exploded out of the 12 oz bottle with about 2 liters of foam. The berry aroma filled the kitchen immediately. A dark gold and ginormous off white head. The thing smells like a berry flavored TCBY waffle cone. This is an incredible aroma. Delicious thick abd creamy palate with an intense berry taste that amazingly is not super sweet. Nor does it have a chemical or seed-like off taste. This is remarkably delicious. I deduct huge points for the crappy over carbonation.

(12oz. bottle, courtesy of Swalden_28) Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wild blueberries, pie crust, huckleberries, and powdered sugar. Flavor of huckleberry with sour that ends abruptly dry and some biscuit and light grain.

pours a light golden color with a big white head. aroma is of cranberry, citrus, and mint. flavor is a bit sour... kind of hard to drink. I keep sipping this, trying hard to enjoy it. flavor is of lime seltzer water, berries, and a bit floral on the aftertaste. I have to say I’m a bit disappointed though it’s pretty refreshing.

bottle, thanks buckeyeboy! Interesting brew. Pours a nice cloudy yellow/gold color with a tiny white head that disappears quickly. Aromas are cranberry, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry all in one. Flavors remind me of cranberry/strawberry mixed. Beer is enticingly sour. Somewhat creamy, but not really as creamy as one might expect. Carbonation is nice. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Certainly a unique beer worth trying, but not worth drinking a lot of.
