Bottle. Nose-pineapple, mint, camphor, blueberry syrup, minty nose. Body-hazy medium yellow with a medium ring of bubble. Taste-medium acid, medium citric, berry, thin, wheat, Juicy Fruit gum, blueberries.

Sep 5, 2008 Poured gold with no head. Detect strong huckleberry and green grapes. Tart taste, watery, but enjoyable.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale gold with thin fast dissipating head. Strong aroma of huckleberries. Tastes of huckleberries and a bit of malt. Actually seems overbalanced with the fruit. Tart berry finish then turns flat.

Jul 29, 2008 Tap @ Piper Pub - Pale golden color and clear with a very nice frothy egg white head. The nose is lovely with real fruit as opposed to that artifical fruit extract sweetness. Huckleberries and hints of spice. Unfortunately this one falls short on the palate and is quite lackluster. A very weak cream ale with biscuity pale maltiness, and finishes kind of flat and watery.

Jul 20, 2008 Slightly hazy golden yellow, average white head. Very robust aroma of blackberries and blueberries (which, I take it, is what huckleberries smell like?). The palate is similarly dominated by the fruit. This beer is saved by two things: the nice creamy mouthfeel and the more-than-usual bitterness in the finish. I enjoyed it.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle: Pours a gold color with spotty lacing and decent head. The nose is bright and fresh with nice sweet huckleberry and sweet malts as well, like a fruit sorbet or a fruit pie, nice smell. The flavor is tasty, the hop bitterness stands out a bit more than I usually like, but it has a decent body and plenty of clean malty flavor and fruity accents that keep coming up. Finishes smooth and creamy. Delicious huckleberry beer
