(12oz. bottle, courtesy of Swalden_28) Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wild blueberries, pie crust, huckleberries, and powdered sugar. Flavor of huckleberry with sour that ends abruptly dry and some biscuit and light grain.

Bottle: Pours a gold color with spotty lacing and decent head. The nose is bright and fresh with nice sweet huckleberry and sweet malts as well, like a fruit sorbet or a fruit pie, nice smell. The flavor is tasty, the hop bitterness stands out a bit more than I usually like, but it has a decent body and plenty of clean malty flavor and fruity accents that keep coming up. Finishes smooth and creamy. Delicious huckleberry beer, an Idaho classic.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Fruity huckleberry aroma. Sweetish malty fruity creamy huckleberry flavor with some tart hints. Sweetish malty fruity huckleberry finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Poured a clear golden color with a small whitehead. The aroma was sweet and candy like. Berry notes and a strong odd quality. The flavor was fruity but very bitter and dry with a light body. Long bitterness.

Received a 12-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear golden pale amber brew with a thick and lumpy white head that has some good retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of blueberry, huckleberries, mild golden grain malt, a touch of citrus hops and some bubble gum. Taste is slightly spritzy with lots of carbonation, slightly metallic, with flavors of golden grain malt, multiple tart berry character, with some tart fruit. Finish has a mild tart aftertaste the quickly disappears.

Bottled. Poured slightly hazy light-medium orange with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet huckleberries (not that I’d know the aroma unless it was stated on the label ;) over a soft pale malt and light fruity base.. not too exciting, but well-balanced. The flavor had more of a tangy and spicy aspect of the fruit over a dry bready and honeyed core.. tart finish, but not in a refreshing way. Lighter-bodied with poor flow across the palate (almost syrupy right on front with a big tart kick showing shortly after).. this was also more scratchy and dry than creamy.. didn’t care much for this.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Aroma of fruity ice pops, strawberries, blue berries and fruit punch. A tart melon like sweetness with a ligth pez candy like finish. Kinda like concentrated cotton candy sweetness with a berry like finish. Eh.

Sample pulled from the tank. Not being bottled for another week. Pale yellow. Real huckleberries infused into their cream ale, rather than syrup. Fruity nose like Imperial Fruit Loops, can smell the the sugars from the fruit. Fruit is very quiet in the taste. Some woody bitterness is the strongest element from the fruit.
