Commercial Description:
Our IPA has an Intense hop aroma and strong malt body, followed by a smooth clean finish. Pacific Northwest malted barley with hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create this IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors. The IPA is best served cool, not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma. The perfect beer for any day.

THOUGHTS: Rather nice, but nothing too memorable. Maybe a little more acidic than most IPAs, but thats about it. Lots of hop flavor, but not overly bitter. Well balance, even though it was mostly hops and not much malt at all. There was just a ton of different hop levels present. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, medium orange with an average to large, off-white head that mostly diminished, but kept a fair sheet and left excellent lacing. The aroma was light malt, moderate grapefruit hops and more orange hops. The initial flavor was sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was sweet, slightly acidic and lightly bitter. There was orangey citrus hops, a little malt, grapefruit and lemon hops and a tiny amount of alcohol. Each fruit flavor was balanced by that fruit’s bitter hop taste. The light to medium body was slightly syrupy and then dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Citrus, and pine notes, a bit tropical. Citrus and light bread tone. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Complex fruity nose, just super hoppy, with a tiny bit of resin and some really great mingling of the oils. Rich clear golden with a lacing, creamy white head. Taste is very strongly bitter with some tingling mineral water pushing the caramel way down the bottom. Some crisp hop bite but a little too much sharp crystal malt. Strong pine. Tongue numbed very early on. Light earthy and herbal tones, and a little soap. Full, almost too-full body. Difficult but nice.

Hazy light amber color with a rocky beige head. Dough and citric aromas. Grain, dough, grapefruit zest and earthy pine aromas. Wood and grain flavors as well. Seems to dry, without enough malt to backup the hops.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with ditmier. Pours a hazy orange gold with a moderate yellow-white head that lasted through two-thirds of the glass and left large patches of lace. Pleasant aroma of oranges, grapefruit and caramel. The flavor is caramel with some lightly resinous pine followed by moderate grapefruit bitterness. There is some fruitiness with the bitterness, which I liked. Enjoyable!

Pretty good. Aroma was very nice with a citrus hop presence. Looked nice, amber with a good sized fluffy head that stayed around. Nicely balance flavor with malts up front and a hop bitterness at the back end.

12 ounce bottle shared by jcwattsrugger. Richmond RB Gathering. Grassy floral hops over caramel with light toastiness in aroma. Pretty classic. Clear amber golden with small fine white head. Grassy floral hop flavor that follows aroma closely. Medium body with dry lightly fruity finish and moderate residual bitterness.
