Commercial Description:
Our IPA has an Intense hop aroma and strong malt body, followed by a smooth clean finish. Pacific Northwest malted barley with hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create this IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors. The IPA is best served cool, not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma. The perfect beer for any day.

22 oz. bottle - pours amber with standard, yet mild aromas; basic flavors, but a smooth and tasty PNW IPA...mmmmmm

Draft 10 oz glass at the brewery taproom; Sexy orange-amber and nicely lacing as it goes down the glass. Wow, this is a wonderful, big citrusy and hoppy brew in the true spirit of NW USA IPAs ... grapefruity, resin and sticking to my gullet. This is awesome with a capital A. (#2902, 5/17/07)

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Low pine, earthy aroma with caramel malt. Grapefruit/pine flavor with lots of caramel and some fruit. Good hop flavor that lingers, decent bitterness. Medium bodied.

From the bottle into a shaker glass - Good color with good legs. Great hoppy smell and taste. Interesting bitter finish. Will buy this again next time through Sandpoint, Idaho.

on Tap at the brewery: light golden copper color somewhat cloudy with a huge piney/citrusy hop nose, good carbonation with a nice long lasting head, great lacing all the way to the bottom of the glass. I have been trying all of this brewerys beers with my brother and can say I have yet to have a bad one I see a post that someone had a bad experience must have been a bad tap or bottle as this brewery has turned out nothing but good brews in my opinion.as a side note I have succumbed to the hop side and now cannot get away from them

Great looking beer, bu7t that’s about it. Sparklnig amber, large rocky beige head, tight bead. Light cat pissy hop nose. Water start, odd bitterness in finish. Has great lace, but is thin and had no balance. Poor effort

A nice basic IPA. Clear copper colour with a light, earthy hop, and pine aroma. Light to medium bodied with a creamy texture, featuring a caramel malt body and underlying earthy hop flavours. Drier finishes makes this an easy to drink IPA.

12 oz bottle into a Shaker glass. Pours a light orange with golden hints with a foamy white head. Aroma brings a fairly piney with a bit of flowery zest to it. A small amount of malt is present on the nose. The taste brings a lot of the same...starts with straightforward pine hop with a bit of citrus. Malts then come in during the body and have a bit of sweet caramel notes to them. Ending with a softer bitter note than I thought, I was fairly impressed. A good, easy, solid example of a Northwestern IPA.
