Commercial Description:
Our IPA has an Intense hop aroma and strong malt body, followed by a smooth clean finish. Pacific Northwest malted barley with hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create this IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors. The IPA is best served cool, not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma. The perfect beer for any day.

Chalky character underlies the cereal malt sweetness and citrusy, spicy, pine hop nose. Brilliantly clear copper body is topped by a low but lasting white head that coats the sides of the glass with sudsy lacing. Malt character is a bit lost in the very dry flavour. Mineral, chalky flavour underlies the cirus pine hop flavour. Moderate bitterness and some sweetness in the finish. Dry medium body with decent effervescence that engages the tongue. Snifter. Cellar temperature. Bottle. Bottleworks. Aug-08.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold, white head. Aroma is very malty with caramel, almost cloying, some hops. Flavor is hoppy, malty, doughy with some lingering citrus and bitterness.

pours a copper/amber with a big head, nice lacing... lots of citrus aroma, mostly grapefruit... A bit of pine in the taste, not as much grapefruit as in the nose... The hops seem muddled a bit, it doesnt have the crispness and balanced complexity of the top notch IPAs... I dont experience the "complex malt flavors" i was promised... OK, but many are better...

12 oz bottle via Bridgeview. Pours a hazy amber with a massive chunky beige head. Nose is some subtle floral/herbal hops and sourness. Taste is sour funk......totally infected. Down the drian she goes. Laughing dog seems to have an infection issue as the two dogzillas i got were also infected :(

22. Pours crystal clear but very dark amber with a towering, fluffy, platinum blonde head. Big woody nose; spent grain’s there, too. Cheerios-esque for sure. Nice medium body. Refreshing; nothing sticky or oily or even creamy about it. Woody, resiny, piney mid-palate with biscuit and crackers there as well. Pretty far away from the bright and fruity side of the IPA world, and very tough-minded and well-made. Nice refreshing, delicious little beer.

22 oz bottle, from "By the Bottle" bottle shop in Vancouver, WA. Pours deep pecan amber with a creamy off-white head that lingers nicely and leaves ample lace. Aroma is fruity, earthy and floral with caramel and toffee present as well. Flavor is rich and malty, with more caramel and an over ripe, almost souring summer fruit character, citrus and piney hops as well. Medium to full body, gentle carbonation. Not bad.
