Commercial Description:
Our IPA has an Intense hop aroma and strong malt body, followed by a smooth clean finish. Pacific Northwest malted barley with hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create this IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors. The IPA is best served cool, not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma. The perfect beer for any day.

Pours ruby with a thin off white head. Sweet caramel and hop aroma. Flavor is rather sweet, nice malts going on. Seems as though the hops may have faded a bit, but some juicy citrus still remains. Finishes slightly bitter to offset the sweet, decent carbonation. I really liked this one even though I think it is not quite what it was supposed to be. I would like another to see if this was fresh or not, and wouldn’t mind a few more aged ones if it brings out this flavor! Thanks to jake65 for this one, another great beer from a great trader!

12oz. Pours redish amber with small white head. Aromas of caramel, pine, and a small amount of citrus. Flavors of pine, resin, and a nice floral finish. Pretty nice IPA imo. Great flavor with a nice smooth finish.

Bottle. Lekker hoppy and piney aroma. Poured orange gold with moderate white head. Full hoppy flavour with lekker maltiness. Fast disappearing finish, doesn’t linger. A very worthy IPA

12 oz bottle, Pours a clear deep copper body under a one finger frothy off-white head that settled to a thin wispy partial covering. The nose on this just smells wonderfully fresh. Lots and lots of citrusy hops and a lighter compliment of pine resin over a slightly sweet smelling toasted malt base. The flavor is very hoppy up front, but fades to a slightly ashy bitterness towards the finish that seems a little harsh. A fairly stout malt base keeps the hops pretty well in check though. Long lingering bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with fizzy forced carbonation, maybe a touch sticky on the finish. Overall this is a pretty solid middle of the road IPA. I’d drink this again.

First impressions—resiny flavor, oily on the tongue, hops raspy but not overly harsh, a slight metallic presence blurred by the malt, which expresses more as a weight than sweetness. winter ipa, with definite warming. clear yellow approaching amber, not much of a head, aromas of pine, orange peel, something I cant define, but it all fits together. (from bottle.)

Thanks BuckeyeBoy! Sticky resiny hops and a hefty malt backbone. Sticky sweet, but balanced with pretty big hops. Apparently Idaho has some coastline that I don’t know about, because this is a west coast IPA. Some pine and strong tobacco in the finish. The warmer it gets, the more malt forward i find this to be. Bitterness could be significantly bigger, as could hops, but it still works well as a beer.

On tap at Green Dragon in PDX, OR--Poured a light to thick amber body with a medium fluffy white head. Nose is very fruity and floral. Piny and sticky presence. Very hoppy and yummy beer. If you like IPA, go for this one, without a doubt! Awesome!

Pours almost auburn with a thin oily looking head. Has some grapefruit in the aroma, pretty strongly Cascade aroma. Some bitter grapefruit flavors accompanied by some toasty caramel malts. Not as bitter as I would have expected from the aroma, but good nonetheless. A nice IPA.
