Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 19, 2007 Hazy amber colour with a loose head. Fresh, hoppy (grapefruit, dalandan) nose with light breadcrust. Rich hops on the palate...lots of wood and grapefruit. Balanced - it’s a bit dry as per the style but has a nice toasty malt signature as well. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Date: 10/13/2007

argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA May 3, 2008 (22oz bottle, thanks acrdz) Hazy amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some earthiness. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel, some orange. Medium body, some acidity, some duskiness. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 19, 2007 Bottle shared by boboski: Transparent copper orange with a thin ring of wispy white head. Aroma of slightly soapy grapefruity hops with a touch of pale malt. Body has a mild sweetness with a lot of earthy bittering hops toward a grapefruity drier crisp bittersweet finish. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA May 7, 2006 Updated: Jun 13, 2006Bottle: Pours an amber color with light white head and plenty of lacing. The nose is grassy and sweet with some lighter hop notes and that nice malty body they offer. The flavor is light with alcohol and bitterness, very balanced with sweet caramels and a perfumy wispy tail. The finish is light and hoppy. Decent IPA but no where near the PNW IPAs. Their other styles are above par but not here. The unfiltered version which is found on tap is a tasty treat though, keep your eye out for that one.
