12 oz bottle. Clear orange with a puffy off-white head. Nose is orange, tangerine and key lime honey. Medium light but substantial with a nice tingly carb. Taste is soft orange pith with a creamy toffee sweetness. Dries with pleasant lingering bready bitterness and a bit of black pepper. A great example of one of my favorite styles.

Sample tray. Hazy dark yellow. Nice head. Light non-descript aroma. Seems more British, soft flavours. Does bring out the cayenne from the pretzel sticks.

Big thanks goes out to jake65 for hooking me up with this one. Thanks man! Pours amber with a medium sized white head. Aroma of faint citrus, caramel malts, hops. Flavor is lightly citrus, some hops, toffee, and some caramel malts. Has a nice bitter finish, good carbonation. Very nice!

This is an awesome pale, copper in color with a soft white head. Big floral hop nose, fruity and light citrus zest, with a sweet maltiness that creeps in there. Malts give a caramel and coffee cake flavor, balanced well by the hops. Carbonation is a bit soft reducing the crispness in the finish a bit and leaving a bit oily, but very solid fruity hop goodness.

Clear amber color, pours to a small head. Nice aroma of citrus, hops, a bit of yeast. Big hop flavor up front, flavor trails off in the middle with notes of citrus malt, with a mildly lingering hop after taste. Good balance; would buy again.

(Bottle) Purchased at Bottleworks in Seattle on October 20, 2007. Pours a clear, highly carbonated copper body with a large white frothy head. Nose of Seville oranges mix with a touch of malt. I love the hoppiness of this beer, more of the APA style to the EPA we usually get back in Ontario. The texture is very thick and oily with flavours of cigar leaf, pine, ritz crackers and bready malt. This is an excellent brew - I look forward to having it again and again... hopefully on tap!

Bottle from 5000/Larry Pitonka. The pour was hazy amber, hugh honkin’ classic APA white head, great retention, even at the bottom of the glass, still 1cm thick with great lacing left behind on the walls of the glass. The aroma was toffee with slight oranges and piney resinous notes. The flavor was rich malts, a bit toasty, some oranges, and spicey hops in the finish, an almost saison-like malty-pepper combination, although unfortunately, a touch of plastic/chemical aspects in the aftertaste, which fortunately was only light. Could have a been a wonderful APA if not for that off taste, full mouthfeel, plenty of lingering hop spice zing.

Draft, Great Falls, MT. Topaz, mostly clear with a small but lasting head. Aroma is faint, maybe some nutty toasted malt. Flavor is toasted nut, with some peppery hops. Palate is light-medium, smooth and watery.
