Clean and crisp with a hop taste that lingers on your pallet. Truly a great pale. Wish more pales had this fine taste Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Orange-yellow-amber color with a fine head. Entertaining malty aroma -- wow this is another fairly big hoppy brew. If I hadn’t had the others first, this would’ve been tops, but the hits keep coming at Laughing Dog. (#2904, 5/17/2007) BJP2006 (35), Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Pours a light copper color, nice spicy hop nose not big like an IPA but clean and light, good clean crisp flavor lasts throughout, nice creamy offwhite head that lasted to the bottom with decent lacing. I am a fan of this brewery as it is close to Spokane and produces good drinkable beers CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pours a clear, highly carbonated copper body with a large white frothy head. Nose of Seville oranges mix with a touch of malt. I love the hoppiness of this beer, more of the APA style to the EPA we usually get back in Ontario. The texture is very thick and oily with flavours of cigar leaf, pine, ritz crackers and bready malt. This is an excellent brew - I look forward to having it again and again... hopefully on tap! Aroma is mostly citrus hops with some sweetness present. Taste is classic APA with nice amounts of sweet hops to balance the hops. Nice amount of bitters and sweet in the finish.
<P>Rerate, draft: More fruitiness and citrus hops present in both aroma and taste. Malty sweetness and caramel contribute to a very drinkable and alluring ale. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma is sweet with malts, grains, earthiness, grass and pine. The taste is pretty smooth and refreshing with malts and a touch of biscuit to start and then moving toward a tasty thicket of pine, grassy and earthy hops. To midway and finish a tangy yet sweet up welling of citrus and esters joins in to provide added interest and balance. Nice pale ale. Ralphie (14), Post Falls, Idaho, USA
