May 22, 2007 Draft 10 oz glass at the brewery taproom; Big deep and red (dark, dark). Deep caramel aroma ... same in the flavors ... candy caramel, roasty malt, sweet. Big and rich red ale, putting the Killian fakers to shame. (#2905, 5/17/2007)

Jun 13, 2006 This was a nice little surprise. Rich full bodied and bittersweet maltiness. Effervescent and has just a tingle of herbal hoppiness.

Jun 13, 2006 Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: As I’ve said before, I’m always impressed with the base malts from this company. This one is no different. Super fresh and malty nose with a light sweet hop character. The flavor has a rich full body, a slathering of umami and a pleasant, super creamy finish.
