12oz bottle shared by Sliffy & Pud - Pours dark brown with a short tan head. Aromas of chocolate and lots of roasted malts. Flavor is sweet milk chocolate, lots of roast and a good dose of lactose in there too. Low on carbonation with a sweet mouthfeel and a little bit of a watery palate. Not bad.

Pours a dark black with a small tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma with hints of coffee beans and cream. Taste is smooth and creamy with a roasted malt flavor and a light sweet coffee cream finish. Very good.

Draft 10 oz at the brewpub. This place is 6 for 6! Black of course with an average stouty head. Sweet roasty aroma. Sweet and sugary with a bit of corree, bit of choclatey goodness. bit chalky. This place just doesn’t miss it. (#2906, 5/17/2007)

[12oz Bottle - 99 Bottles] A deep black color with a very light head. This was a good use of dark malts, chcolate and molassaes flavors. This had a great start and a terrific finish. A great beer.

Pours onyx with 1-finger brown head. Aroma of dark roasty malt, chocoff, molasses. Tastes roasty dark malty, with chocoff, slight cherry, and slight rauchy brown sugary notes. Nice complexity.

Buttery, mocha, and metallic nose; sweet, yet balanced, notes of bittersweet chocolate, percolated coffee, and earthy hops; metallic; creamy, moderate body and not too sweet. OK
