Bitter chocolate, dark roast, hint of prune in the nose. Lively carbonation early, seems to play itself out to become a more creamy mouthfeel later. I’d never heard of this brewery before Oakes mentioned it during the visit to Bottleworks but the scores on RB and positive remarks has me hoping we’ll see more of Laughing Dog in the future. This beer had a solid cocoa base with a roasted-cold-coffee-sitting-on-the-element-for-too Very thick and malty, this should be the pride of Idaho. Yummy!
