First if all, my apologies to the hotel management for the imperial stout spray on the walls from when I opened this. It shot all over the place due to a bad angle selection on my part. I did my honest beat cleaning it up, but I’d imagine the discerning eye will still be able to notice my presence. Anyhow, pours a nice dark brown, thick bodied with a decent head and dark and full aromas of cocoa and fruit. Flavor is a complex mix of bourbony booze, chocolate, peat and prunes. It’s a nice and thick mouthfeel with a bit of wamth and a fairly pronounced dark fruit presence in the aftertaste. This is good stuff. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
