Incredibly floral and fruity hop combination, very satisfying mouth. Pours well, and holds up in a glass.

On tap at the Laurelwood Pizza location in Portland, Oregon’s Hollywood District--Poured a deep amber-copper body with a one-finger white head that dissipated after a few moments. Bright floral, grapefruit nose with hints of English yeast and a bready texture. Big spicy hopped flavor with a toasted grain bite. Finished with a unique candied piquant tongue feel. Mildly tart and biting. A nice beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Hoppy aroma, leafy, fresh and green with a good blend of fruitiness with notes of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, toasty sweetness and breadiness, some tea-like herbal tinges blend with the light malty notes. Medium-dark clear amber color, head is fine and sparse with lacing to match. Flavor is mostly hoppy too, more orange and grapefruit, spice and pine, juicy and prominent, but blends well with the light caramel sweetness and toasty grain flavors. Finishes with a moderate amount of bitterness. Average effervescence for the style, body is light-medium. Perhaps nothing spectacular but it is a well-balanced and flavorful hybrid IPA/APA style.
