| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Pours the classic IPA amber, fizzy white head. Big piney grapefruit nose.
Hop dominates the flavour, lacks a little body. Passionfruit, grapefruit flavours with a slight sweet malt. Reminds me of fruit juice with a little carbonation.
Bitter finish, resiny, peppery. A great American IPA.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Murky amber bronze, fairly muted aroma. Some, marmalade notes in the malt with a fairly stock standard bland bitterness, like its bitter but with no distinguishing characteristics yalnikim (782), Wellington, New Zealand

No batch number, no alcohol % in any form, just an ironic government warning... and a funny monkey on the label. The beer is ok. Malt, hops, yeast... drinkable.... meh! Better than average but only just.
