skoisirius (477), Seattle, Washington, USA May 21, 2008 Bomber. My expectations on this were beat! Well balanced, and well hopped up this is definitely one of the better "Organic" brews I’ve encountered. Fruity malts combine with a mature hop palate mid to finish. Medium bodied. Goodness!
DTM (373), Winters, California, USA Sep 2, 2008 Bottle from Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. Poured a copper color with a the aroma of citrus hops. Not being a big fan of overly hoppy IPA’s this one instantly became one of my favorites in the genre. The malt backbone balances the citrus hops almost perfectly. Great for just an regular IPA. timfoolery (344), California, USA Sep 2, 2008 From Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. Usually, organics just aren’t good, but this one had great flavor and a palate to boot. It was fuller in body than most IPAs (reminding me a little of TF Dreadnaught), although the hops were more citrusy than bitter pine. I actually loved this one for what it was: a very good, malty IPA. fakepurseninja (494), Sammamish, Washington, USA Aug 19, 2008 nice looking IPA, does not live up to expectations. super soapy and citrusy with a strange spice and mintgrass conponent. very resiny and chewy but without a decent malt character to balance the extreme hop pine and citrus. its hoppy alright, but not in a good way. glkaiser (911), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 13, 2008 Bright amber with medium head. Pine hop aroma with a little nug and citrus. Hoppy, but very well balanced with earthy malt. Enjoyable, but didn’t knock my socks off. Beerman6686 (726), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2008 Poured a hazy orange color with an off white head. Aroma was mainly citrusy hops. Flavor was a lot of citrus hops and pretty malty, almost too malty to cover up the hops.
